Sista, Sista

I look forward to Sunday mornings at First Baptist Church for two reasons. First, Pastor Kirby serves some very interesting foods for thought to the table for us to feast on.
The second reason is to enjoy my sisters in Christ. We laugh, cry, play games like find your match, wear tiaras, and use other visuals all while learning what the Word of God says. They never know what I will bring in to go along with the lesson, but they know it wil be fun and educational.
You may have heard me say the Bible is like a piece of chocolate cake without the calories. These past few Sundays we've really gotten down to the cream pudding inside this chocolate cake.
My hearts desire is for women to know how much God adores them, what He says about them is true, and a deeper relationship with Him will evolve.
My prayer for them is to accept Him by faith through grace and grow into a deeper relationship with them. I pray they are so hidden in Christ that when they walk up to you all you see is Jesus. We are of different ages and ideas, but of one goal. To be more than what we were before we came in.
