Since I have added one more thing to my plate, my family and friends have been concerned about me and my schedule. I've learned from past mistakes that first, you control your activities not the other way around, next you schedule your activities around God NOT God around the activities. The third lesson I've learned is that there will be times I will have to stop and reevaluate my schedule and activities to the leadership God has given to me. My relationship with Jesus Christ, the son of God is more important to me than all the activities in my life.
I have to rely on the Holy Spirit and His direction for the activities in my life in order of priority He sets. I think of a parent with small children. This parent may have two or three children ranging from different ages or maybe twins / triplets. The parent has to find time to be alone with Jesus too. This parent has two or more major responsibilities plus activities on the side. This parent has to make the right choices for themselves and list their priorities just as I do. Our situations are different yet similar.
I feel loved by the people in my life who care about my health, my life choices, and my relationship with God. I have made many mistakes in my relationship with Jesus, but I take those mistakes now and am on a new and different journey.
How about you? What does your quiet time with the LORD, the Creator, the Son of God look like?
Is it a priority in your life?
If not, check to see what your days turn out to be like; good or bad ones.
