So You Want it Your Way?

There are two ways people can go today. Their way that may lead them into a place they didn't want or mean to end up in. The other way is back home. Is coming home going to be the same though?
Selfish people want what they want. Selfish people look to fulfill  their hearts desires, chase after taking care of themselves and avoid anyone else in their life. Most selfish people don't care what it takes to fill their need or who it would hurt. Selfish people squander their money, stuff, and things. After all is used up and the bank account is empty or the refrigerator needs to be refilled, or the love of a child is still empty and yearning for the love of the parent and the parent only has love for themselves; it's sad.
It's really sad to think a person, such as myself, loosing everything such as friends, family, being destitute and thinking there is no way out the mess I've made. Where there is no will there is always an excuse. Selfish people make excuses why they need what they want. The funny thing is that when family and friends have turned their backs and said "I'm exhausted" or "I can't trust anymore." There is always one that is waiting for you to turn and make that journey home.  When you make that decision, honestly make it, it will show in your actions.  You will be received with open arms, arms wide open. The Father will be well and excited and waiting.
If you don't think so I challenge you to read Luke 15: 11-24.  Pick the Bible up and read it. You will be rewarded because God wants to give you what you want most; forgiveness. Eternal rewards will come quickly. But if you stay in your selfishness the curses will come slowly. It is written in Deuteronomy 28. I challenge you to read that chapter too.
You see my pastor said it best:
"Our loving Heavenly Father has His arms open wide, gazing, scanning the horizon, waiting for you to make that journey home to repentance! Will you come? Decide right now- come to the arms of the loving Father."

From someone who knows; the journey back home is well worth it! God can and will restore you and your home, but you have to make the first move, He already has.

~Let me know if you need someone to talk to? Leave your information and let's connect. There isn't anything you've done that will surprise me.
Waiting,
Marjorie
