"You Mean the World to Me"

Those five words had me in tears.  My sister who is fighting against cancer that is not curable said these words to me. I can remember someone saying that to me before. However, hearing it today really blessed me and my heart is full of joy.  Her words told me, "If you were to die today, my world would not be the same."

I know that God loves me and loves me that way.  My life changed when I accepted the truth that Jesus loved me so much He died for me.

Have you missed having someone love on you today? Have you been so bruised by hurt words from a friend, a spouse, a child, or someone else?
Do you wonder if you were to die today that someone else's life would not be the same?

I have a friend  that has not spoken to her son in over 10 years. She has no idea where he is. The last time they spoke, they had a heated argument. She does not know if he is dead or alive, on drugs or off of drugs, healthy or unhealthy.  No matter where he is and what he is or is not doing, she loves him. My friend prays for her son every day. He still means the world to her, but she cannot physically offer forgiveness to him. Her response to the situation is,"God knows."

Yes, God does know.  God knows your hurt, your need, your desire to be loved so much that you mean the world to someone. Your hurt is not so deep that you cannot be reached.

Be encouraged, someone does love you and you mean the world to them.  If you have fallen away from your family, reach out, there is always forgiveness through Jesus Christ.
